Words that help important ideas travel further and reach the people who need them.

Some ideas are too important to be written badly. I help people with something real to say find exactly how to say it — on the page, in a pitch or on a stage.

About me

Meet Alex

Polish-born, Oxford-educated and now firmly rooted in Australia, I work at the intersection of content, media and public conversation, helping people find the story beneath the strategy.

Over the past decade, I’ve helped books, research and big ideas reach wide, engaged audiences – through thought leadership, media writing, brand storytelling and strategic PR.

I’ve ghostwritten two books, authored over 150 thought-leadership pieces and speeches, and led communications and publicity support for research and publications across health, ageing, higher education, parenting, and emerging areas such as psychedelics for mental health research.

My work has appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald, Vogue, Newsweek, Breathe, Mindful Parenting and The Culture Trip. I’ve collaborated with brands and organisations, including TEDx, Sydney Opera House, Audible, Discovery Channel and the University of Wollongong, leading copywriting, research promotion, expert commentary and media engagement.

Along the way, I’ve interviewed world-leading thinkers, including Francis Fukuyama, Alain de Botton, Jonathan Haidt and Anthony Giddens – with a longstanding focus on how ideas move from academia and practice into everyday life.

With more than 10 years of experience spanning articles, speeches, blogs, thought leadership pieces, scripts and e-books, I like to connect the dots between big-picture thinking and everyday detail, bringing clarity and resonance to every project.

My values

“In an age of AI and automation, I see my role as someone who de-flattens language and brings it back to life. I’m not here to tick boxes – I’m here to make people care”.

Editorial & Long-Form Writing

Some subjects resist simplification. I don't simplify them — I find the story inside. Drawing on my background in journalism, I write features, essays, opinion pieces and long-form content that treat readers as intellectual partners. This includes book editing, scripts, case studies and reports — anything that needs a strong argument, a clear structure and a writer who has done the reading.

Strategic Copywriting

Good copy doesn't sound like copy. It sounds like the clearest, most convincing version of what you actually want to say. I write website copy, fun newsletters, digital product content and more — balancing SEO requirements with a human voice and strategy that makes people keep reading rather than click away.

Brand Storytelling & Thought Leadership PR

Most organisations have more to say than they realise — and less time than they'd like to say it well. I work with leaders, researchers and brands to develop the narrative that sits beneath their story: the positioning, the editorial voice, the key messages that make every op-ed, media release and newsletter feel like it belongs to a unified set of values. Includes thought leadership strategy, brand messaging, PR writing and media relations.

Speechwriting & Narrative Strategy

Some ideas belong on a stage. I help leaders get them there — writing speeches, TEDx-style talks and executive video scripts that translate complex thinking into language an audience can follow, feel and remember. I also work on the strategic layer: the narrative architecture that carries every great speech, campaign or content series.

“If people cannot write well, they cannot think well, and if they cannot think well, others will do their thinking for them.”

George Orwell
